Under the Sea in Johns Creek

Southeast Aquariums on Monday held a ribbon-cutting at its new showroom, SEA Atlanta, in Johns Creek. 

Representatives from the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Mike Bodker were present at the opening at 10305 Medlock Bridge Road.

Raj Shingadia, SEA Atlanta's owner, says high-end equipment and staff biologists who quarantine and treat all fish and coral before they are sold are some of the things that set the business apart.

Southeast Aquariums, an aquarium manufacturing, design and installation company, was recently featured on HGTV’s national design show “Mega Dens.” Clients include local Atlanta celebrities, homeowners, hospitals and restaurants.

The Johns Creek showroom carries professional aquarium equipment as well as obscure and exotic species of saltwater fish and corals from across the globe.

Family friendly grand opening events on Oct. 7-9 will feature a children's touch tank and workshop, Q&As, presentations and door prizes including a 32-inch LCD HDTV, digital camera and aquarium products.
