Acworth Woman to be Charged in Kennesaw Traffic Fatality

MARIETTA, GA -- Police expect charges to be filed in a crash Sunday afternoon in Kennesaw that left a 23-year-old man dead.

The crash happened on Frey Road near Parliament Garden Way.

Police say Alexander Reyes of Kennesaw was driving a black Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Frey Road. Celestine Kiprono, 32, of Acworth, was traveling northbound in a blue Toyota Rav4. When Kiprono tried to make a left onto Parliament Garden Way, she struck Reyes in the intersection.

Reyes was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Neither Kiprono nor her passenger was injured in the collision.
