Announcing "Putts for Mutts" Golf Event on May 7
Join us for a day of golf and fellowship at Brookstone Golf & Country Club to raise money for Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue

Just in time for great spring weather, Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue is hosting its first annual golf tournament, “Putts for Mutts.” The event will take place on Monday, May 7 at Brookstone Golf and Country Club in Acworth. The particulars are as follows: 8:00 am registration/breakfast, 9:00 am shotgun start. Four-person team scramble format. Individual golfer registration is $150 and four-person team registration is $600. The registration fee includes green fee, cart, breakfast, lunch and goodie bag. All the money raised goes to help Mostly Mutts save more homeless pets.
“I admit we know a whole lot more about animal rescue than we do about golf, but thanks to the staff at Brookstone Golf and Country Club and our golfing volunteers, we can promise you a great day of golf and fellowship, and an all-around “barkin’ good time” said Tammy Turley, Executive Director. “We would like to thank Superior Plumbing and Kennesaw Mountain Veterinary Services for being our presenting co-sponsors, and we are encouraging other businesses in the community to take advantage of available sponsorship opportunities to help make this event a very successful fundraiser.”

Mostly Mutts strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters in Metro Atlanta by working with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep. Often, these dogs are sick, injured and require rehabilitation. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, and physical and emotional care to these rescued animals until they can be placed in a new “furever home.”
