Applications Now Open for KSU Continuing Education Scholarships

The scholarships help defray some of the costs associated with professional certificate programs

Students who desire to re-enter the workforce, change careers or advance in their current position can apply for scholarships offered through KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education. The scholarships help defray some of the costs associated with professional certificate programs and are made possible by the contributions of generous donors.

“It is a great honor to be able help our students as they pursue continuing education,” said Assistant Dean Michelle Girage. “Our commitment is to offer everyone in the community access to an affordable, high-quality education.”

The deadline to apply for a scholarship is May 25. Applicants will be notified of their award status in the summer. The college is currently accepting applications for the following scholarships:

  • Leslie Clark-Malzhan Memorial Scholarship
  • Lois Brooks Nesbitt Continuing Education Scholarship
  • Kay Evans Scholarship
  • Jeanne A. Cook Memorial Scholarship for Gerontology
  • Senior Citizen Council of Cobb County Scholarship for Gerontology
