Chattahoochee Gold Swimmer Signs with College of Wooster
College of Wooster is a private, Division III school of about 2000 students; its swim team competes in the North Coast Conference

Jon Woodman is taking his prowess in the pool to the Upper Ohio Valley to swim for College of Wooster’s Fighting Scots.
Right now, Jon is a senior and standout swimmer for the Kennesaw Mountain High School Mustangs. At the Cobb County Championship Swim Meet earlier this year, Jon finished 4th in the 100 Freestyle and 7th in the 50 Freestyle. He also competed in relay events for the Mustangs that finished in 6th and 7th places.
His coach on the Chattahoochee Gold club team, Mike Wardwell says “Jon's hard work and determination have helped him improve greatly in a short amount of time. He is going to have a bright swimming future ahead of him at the College of Wooster.” Jon says, “I’m looking forward to my time up in Wooster, Ohio; can't wait for the snow to melt in early June.”
