Cobb County Bank Robbed; Police Seek Suspect

Cobb County police are searching for a man they say robbed a bank in East Cobb on Thursday morning.

The suspect walked into the SunTrust Bank inside the Publix on Johnson Ferry Road at approximately 11 a.m. Thursday and handed a teller a note demanding money. Once he got the money, he fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a white male between 25-35 years of age, with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a red “Georgia” hat, tan pants, a gray pullover and a blue t-shirt. He also had on white tennis shoes and sunglasses.
