Having a passionate coach can help fire up a team, encourage refs to call the game your way, and provide entertainment to the fans in the stands.

WSB-TV says that South Cobb Lady Eagles’ Coach Melonie Martin was involved in a heated argument with the other coach when she allegedly bit him in the nose and eye. Not content to stop there, Martin allegedly threw a chair at the coach in true Bobby Knight fashion. To complete the outburst, Martin allegedly threatened to kill the other coach.
Martin was arrested and booked into the Cobb County jail on charges of simple battery and making terroristic threats. She was released on a $7,500 bond later that day, jail records show.
