Cobb County Man Arrested for Peeping in Bathroom

An East Cobb man bonded out of jail on Monday after being arrested and charged with illegal surveillance for allegedly spying on women in a bathroom.

Scott Joe Carter is accused of using a peephole in the men’s bathroom at the AAA Sandy Plains Car Care Plus on Gordy Parkway to look into the women’s bathroom. An arrest warrant acquired by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution claims that Carter went to the bathroom multiple times after women had gone to their bathroom.

Cobb County jail records indicate Carter was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Monday and was released on $5,000 bond at 11:52 a.m. He faces one felony charge.
