Cobb Crash Kills One
An SUV collided head-on with a box truck on Bells Ferry Road Thursday morning, police said.
One person is dead after the SUV they were driving entered the wrong lanes of traffic and smashed into a truck in Cobb County on Thursday morning.
The driver, who is not being identified, was northbound on Bells Ferry Road near Wallace Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. when the vehicle strayed into the southbound lanes of travel and collided with two vehicles, Cobb police tell Patch. One of the vehicles was a box truck, WSB-TV says.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, WSB-TV reports.
