According to police, officers were called to the Hillcrest Plaza Mobile Home Park at 1:26 a.m. in reference to loud music. When officers arrived, they were met at lot 11 by a man identified at Brian Thomas Ohlmann, 37. Ohlmann went back inside his trailer, produced a firearm, and threatened to shoot the officers, police said.

Once officers tried to talk him out of the home and into surrendering, Ohlmann reportedly opened fire on them. The officers returned fire, wounding Ohlmann. He was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in critical condition, police said.
