Cobb Sailor Killed in Virginia
Police say the sailor was found dead in a street in Norfolk on Saturday morning.
A Cobb County sailor was shot and killed near his base in Virginia over the weekend, police said Monday.
Brandon Marcellus Haith, 21, was found dead in an intersection in Virginia Beach, near Norfolk, where his vessel was docked. A vigil was held Sunday for the slain sailor, WSB-TV reports.
Police in Virginia continue to investigate Haith’s shooting.
