Council to Discuss City Manager Position Wednesday
It is expected that the city will address the separation agreement with the previous city manager so the search for a replacement can start.

The Kennesaw City Council will meet this week to discuss its vacant city manager position and will begin the process of filling the vacancy.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the council will meet on Wednesday to review and amend the separation agreement between the city and former City Manager Steve Kennedy, whose contract expired on Dec. 31. The council decided last week not to grant Kennedy a contract extension.
Kennedy showed up to work the day after his contract was not extended, drawing some comment and criticism of Mayor Mark Mathews from city council members.
