Earning an undergraduate degree from KSU is a significant life accomplishment. For
many, earning a graduate degree will be an important step toward achieving their professional
goals.

A recent salary study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers notes
that in three-quarters of the majors, master's degree graduates from the Class of
2021 – particularly in computer science, engineering and business – are expected to
receive higher salaries than those from just a year ago. And according to the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics, on average employees with master's degrees earn more than
$10,000 per year more than those with bachelor’s degrees, while master’s degree holders
also face lower unemployment rates than those with bachelor's degrees.

In response to these trends, Kennesaw State is continually developing new tools to
meet the needs of students. Most recently, Kennesaw State launched Double Owl Pathways,
an innovative effort that enables students to complete undergraduate and graduate
degrees at an accelerated rate.

Designed for ambitious students who want to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees,
while saving time and money by simultaneously satisfying requirements for both degrees,
Double Owl Pathways recognizes the ability of students to learn quickly and effectively.

Available in more than 30 disciplines, such as computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, software engineering,
business administration, criminal justice and more, students on a Double Owl Pathway
can take up to 9 credit hours of graduate-level courses while they are undergraduates.
Once they obtain their undergraduate degree, they will be able to finish their master’s
degree in about a year instead of two, giving them a head start on their careers.

Double Owl Pathways combines two of our priorities at KSU: offering meaningful degree
programs to our students and keeping students on track to graduate in a timely manner.
