The Kennesaw Mountain Band Organization is hosting the 2nd Annual Music on the Mountain 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, August 20, 2011 (Rain or Shine) at Kennesaw Mountain High School, 1898 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, Georgia. The 1 Mile Fun Run (new this year) will be at 6:00pm and the 5K will begin at 6:30 pm. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome! Net race proceeds will benefit the award-winning Kennesaw Mountain Marching Band program. The Band and Color Guard will be performing at various locations around the course which is a fun combination of roads, grass, and trails. REGISTRATION: 5K - $20 before 8/6/11, $25 after 8/6/11 or on race day…1 Mile Fun Run - $15 before 8/6/11, $18 after 8/6/11 or on race day.
