Georgia Cares Gears Up For 3rd Annual Color Me Free 5K!
5K Color Run taking place July 22 in Marietta to raise money for victim services and treatment for child victims of sex trafficking in GA.

Ready to help free child victims of sex trafficking and get covered in color? Join Georgia Cares on Saturday, July 22nd for the 3rd Annual Color Me Free 5K Color Run as we run for their lives! The Color Me Free 5K color run is a way to help free child victims of sex trafficking and have fun while doing it. It’s a 5K unlike any other! Don’t forget to wear white so the colors will show!
The Color Me Free 5K Color Run is taking place Saturday, July 22nd at Due West United Methodist Church located at 3956 Due West Road, Marietta, GA 30064. Special guest, Miss Georgia USA 2017, Deanna Johnson will start the race at 8:00am and will award top male and female runners. After the race, she will be available for a meet and greet and autograph session! Registration for the race can be found at Active.com or at gacares.org/ColorMeFree.html . Registration is $35 through July 14 and July 15 - July 22 is $40. Day of registration is $40. The goal for this race is to raise money for victim services and raise awareness of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking, happening right here in our Georgia communities. Adam Bomb from Q100 will be on site for the event.

Georgia Cares was created as an initiative of the Governor’s Office for Children and Families in 2009 and is now an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to serve child sex trafficking victims in Georgia. Georgia Cares is the single, statewide coordinating agency to connect services and treatment care for all child sex trafficking victims. Our mission is to ensure that child sex trafficking victims receive quality care and services in the state of Georgia. It is our vision that child sex trafficking will one day be eradicated in Georgia, and we will see survivors restored and thriving.
