The City of Kennesaw and the American Red Cross are hosting a community blood drive today from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the , located at 2753 Watts Dr. in Kennesaw.
Most healthy people who are at least 17-years-old and weigh at least 110 pounds may donate blood every 56 days.

The donation process from the time of arrival is about 45 minutes, while the donation itself only takes about eight to 10 minutes. Click here to schedule an appointment online or call the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Walk-ins are also welcome.
