Harrison High School Makes Promise to Not Do Drugs

Over 750 Harrison High School students signed a red ribbon as a symbol of their promise to not do drugs or alcohol. The activity was the center piece of the Harrison High School PTSA’s ”Grow the Bow” campaign during National Red Ribbon Week. Once the ribbon was signed, PTSA members tied it into a bow and attached it to the fence along Due West Rd. in front of the campus.

Additional activities surrounding the National Red Ribbon Week campaign at Harrison High School included PSA’s created by Harrison video students, drawings for prizes, and a totaled car display as a graphic example of what could happen when poor decisions are made regarding using drugs and alcohol.

The PTSA hopes that these activities and graphic images help remind students of their responsibility to themselves and others by making the right choice to not do drugs or alcohol.
