Harrison HS Pops in the Park Scheduled for May 7
Event will feature group performances on multiple stages at Harrison's Cobleigh Stadium
Harrison High School Bands will hold its “Pops in the Park” concert event on Friday, May 7, beginning at 6 pm at Cobleigh Stadium on the campus of Harrison High School. Admission will be charged, with attendance limited and social distancing requested consistent with Cobb Schools policy.
Preliminary plans call for performances on multiple stages by Harrison’s:
- Concert Band
- Symphonic Band
- Wind Ensemble
- Two Jazz Bands
- Two HIPE Percussion Ensembles
- Winter Guard, and
- Select small groups
In addition, Harrison Bands will recognize its senior graduating class for their outstanding contributions during a very challenging school year.

The event will be conducted cooperatively between Harrison Bands and the Harrison High Band Boosters (HHBB), a volunteer organization supporting music education and performance at Harrison High School. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the 2021-22 Harrison Bands program. HHBB also will be recruiting volunteers to assist with management of the Pops in the Park event.
