Help us take advantage of this $10,000 challenge!

Every dollar donated until December 1 will be matched 100%, up to $10,000! This is BIG!

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue has placed more than 450 animals in new, loving homes this year thanks to overwhelming community support. Now, just in time for #GivingTuesday, the organization has been challenged by one of its most ardent supporters to raise $10,000 before the end of November. The money raised will be matched dollar for dollar and will help save even more animals in 2017.

#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been driven by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Since its founding in 2012, millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live. After two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday – #GivingTuesday is a day for giving back.

“We are fortunate to have the most amazing staff, volunteers, foster families and donors. We look back on 2016 and all the success stories, and we could not be more grateful” said Tammy Turley, Executive Director. “We humbly request that you consider even a small donation to help us take advantage of this unexpected matching grant.”

Mostly Mutts strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters in Metro Atlanta by working with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep. Often, these dogs are sick, injured and require rehabilitation. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, and physical and emotional care to these rescued animals until they can be placed in a new “furever home.” Since 2004, Mostly Mutts has saved approximately 6,000 animals.

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, licensed by the Dept. of Agriculture and staffed by volunteers. It is privately funded through donations and adoption fees.
