Help Wanted: Underwriting Specialist

Marcel is hiring an underwriting specialist:

• Qualifications: Strong PC skills, especially in Word, Excel, and Outlook and paperless working environment; good skills in verbal and written communication, analysis and problem solving, organization and time management; good customer service skills; being detail-oriented; being self-directed and highly productive; being comfortable with high volume workloads and production standards; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; and 1+ years of insurance related experience, including a fundamental understanding of underwriting concepts, practices and procedures.

• Job responsibilities: Computer data entry; policy issuance and renewal preparation; coding; scanning; maintaining binders; processing mail and filing quotes.
