A pair of Kennesaw police officers are lucky to have escaped death or serious injury after a wrong-way driver nearly crashed into them over the weekend.

According to the department’s Facebook page, the officers were in a patrol car traveling south on Cobb Parkway near Kennesaw Due West Road on Saturday night when they were almost run into by a car driving northbound in the southbound lanes.
Police stopped the wrong-way driver and took her into custody, according to the Facebook page. FOX 5 Atlanta reports the driver was Robin Wynn, who now faces multiple charges including DUI.
