Kennesaw Plastic Surgeon Under Indictment in Two Deaths
Dr. Nedra Dodds and an assistant were indicted by a grand jury on Thursday.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Kennesaw plastic surgeon and her assistant were indicted Thursday after police began investigating two deaths reported at their clinic.
Dr. Nedra Dodds and Kevin McCowan are suspected in a February 2013 and a June 2013 fatality, according to WSB-TV, both of which occurred at Opulence Aesthetic Medicine.
According to police reports, April Jenkins died in February 2013 died after going into cardiac arrest following a fat-transfer procedure. Four months later, Erica Beaubrun was found by police and firefighters at the clinic, lying in a pool of blood after a buttocks reduction procedure in which silicone implants were removed.

EMTs determined she also went into cardiac arrest. The clinic allegedly waited more than 20 minutes before calling 9-1-1.
