Kennesaw Bathroom Video Voyeur Going to Prison

The man set up a surveillance camera in a guest bathroom in his house to make recordings of guests using the facilities.

A Kennesaw man admitted in court on Wednesday to installing a hidden camera inside a guest bathroom inside his home so he could watch others use the toilet, the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

William Randolph Cushen, 36, told Judge Henry Thompson that he is “absolutely guilty” of setting up a video camera to make the recordings in his home on Point Grey Court in Kennesaw. Most of the discovered recordings dated to 2008 but were not known to the state until 2013. The recordings captured seven people, including two children, using the facilities.

“While anyone would feel violated upon learning that an individual had clandestine recordings of their private activities, the actions of this defendant were particularly devastating to his victims due to the trust and friendship they placed in the defendant for many years leading up to the discovery of this evidence,” said Assistant District Attorney Susan Treadaway, who prosecuted the case.
