Kennesaw Big Shanty Festival Offers Parade, Family Festivities

The Superior Plumbing Kennesaw Big Shanty Festival begins April 13 through 14, with the downtown area will be transformed into a festival.

KENNESAW, GA -- Come enjoy the 43rd annual Superior Plumbing Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival April 13 and 14. The festival kicks off with a parade on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The downtown Kennesaw area will be transformed into a giant family-friendly festival. There will be a variety of activities to entertain all ages.

While at the Superior Plumbing Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival take time to wander through more than 200 booths featuring a vast array of one-of-a-kind and homemade crafts. The Superior Plumbing Big Shanty Festival has grown through the years to become one of the largest arts and crafts shows in North Georgia.

Kennesaw’s annual Superior Plumbing Big Shanty Festival is one of the community’s largest and most popular events, as well as one of Kennesaw Business Association's primary sources for giving back to Kennesaw’s schools and non-profit organizations. Each year, over 70,000 attendees attend this festival and enjoy a variety of food, live entertainment and local vendors.

This year, the Superior Plumbing Big Shanty Festival will consist of 250+ booths with fun-filled activities, food vendors, merchants, and two stages for live entertainment.

The festival kicks off with a parade on Saturday at 9:30 am. With floats, high school bands, marchers, and over 1,000 kids representing every sports association in the area, this parade starts at Adams Park and continues down Main Street through downtown Kennesaw.
