KENNESAW, GA — Election Day is Tuesday in Kennesaw, and voters will cast their ballots in the 2019 municipal election.

The Kennesaw City Council election will take place Nov. 5. The election is for the council seats of mayor, Post 1 and 2. All seats are elected at-large.

Georgia will be using a new voting system next year. The new system includes electronic ballot marking devices that record the voters’ choices on paper ballots that the voters review and drop into a scanner. Six counties will be piloting the new system this November, and Cobb County has been asked to pilot a modified version of the new system during the Nov. 5 municipal elections.
