Killer of KSU Student Pleads Guilty, Sentenced to Life
Police say road rage caused Sparkles Lindsey to shoot Kimberly Kilgore in 2013.

An Austell woman has pleaded guilty to killing a Kennesaw State University student in an apparent case of road rage, WSB-TV reports.
Sparkles Lashayla Lindsey was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 30 years on Tuesday for the Oct. 11, 2013 murder of Kimberly Kilgore, 21. Lindsey and Kilgore got into an argument with each other while driving on Shiloh Road, and the two women pulled off into the parking lot of the Shiloh Green Apartments to settle their dispute. Lindsey shot and killed Kilgore around 2 a.m.. police said.

Kilgore was studying communications at Kennesaw State at the time of her murder, WSB-TV said.
