KSU Investigating Reported On-Campus Sexual Assault

The normal sense of security held by students on Kennesaw State University’s campus has been disturbed by the report this week of a sexual assault on university property.

According to WSB-TV, a man attacked a woman in the parking lot of an on-campus residential building between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. KSU students received a notice from police regarding the attack, and some now feel much less safe on campus.
Police are stepping up their patrols around campus, but are stressing the need for students to be vigilant at all times and to look out for one another.

It is not know if this incident is related to another sexual assault that was reported in on-campus housing earlier this month.
