Large Drug Shipment Allegedly Headed for Kennesaw Stopped in Texas

The value of the seized drugs is just under $300,000.

Troopers in Texas have seized nearly 50 pounds of drugs that were allegedly making their way to Kennesaw from California.

According to BigCountryHomepage, a trooper near Bushland pulled over a 2014 Toyota Corolla for a traffic violation on Interstate 40 eastbound just before 9 a.m. Saturday. While inspecting the vehicle, the trooper discovered two large bundles of marijuana in the trunk. The bundles weighed a combined 47 pounds and have a likely street value of $290,000.
