Local professional photographer wins image competition award
KENNESAW, GA – Kennesaw photographer Sherry Rosen of Sherry Rosen Photography recently earned a prestigious award at the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA) 2016 annual gathering.
During the annual image competition held in conjunction with the association’s expo and tradeshow, Rosen’s image, Hold On!, was selected as the 3rd Place image in the Pet and Animal category by a panel of eminent jurors from across the United States. The competition, which had 115 entries from the state of Georgia and beyond, was judged against a strict standard of excellence comprised of 12 specific elements. This year’s event was held September 30 though October 3 in Jekyll Island.
“It’s a great honor to win this award,” said Rosen. “It’s an amazing competition to be a part of. It’s a great opportunity to push myself to be a better photographer each year, to be recognized is just icing on the cake.”

“As president of GPPA, I am excited about Sherry’s talent, skill and passion.
