New Climbing Facility Opens in Kennesaw

Stone Summit Climbing & Fitness' new location is larger than its Atlanta location and includes climbing walls nearly 50 feet high.

Fitness junkies and acrophiles have a new place to call home in Kennesaw.

Stone Summit Climbing & Fitness has opened a new location at 2801 George Busbee Parkway inside a former Circuit City store near Town Center at Cobb. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the Kennesaw facility is some 5,000 sq. ft. bigger than Stone Summit’s Atlanta location.

Kennesaw’s Stone Summit is not only bigger than the Atlanta facility, but its climbing walls are higher as well. FOX 5 says the walls at the new facility soar to 15 meters in height, which is slightly over 49 feet. In Atlanta, the climbing wall is only 10 meters, or 32 feet tall.
