New Playground Equipment Installed at Two Kennesaw Parks
The upgrades to our local parks aid in the City's goal to provide a safe and healthy atmosphere.

From The City of Kennesaw: The City of Kennesaw’s Parks & RecreationnDepartment has installed new playground equipment at Terry Lane Park and Kennesaw Station Park.
The Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing public parks, facilities and recreation experiences that enrich the quality of life for area residents and visitors. In addition to Kennesaw’s two community parks, several smaller parks also serve residents, providing basic daily recreational needs for the surrounding neighborhoods.
“We are always working to upgrade and add to our city parks,” says Parks & Recreation Director Doug Taylor. “These expanded playgrounds allow us to better serve the needs of our growing population.”

The department understands the importance of having play areas with adequate playground equipment. These parks allow our community the opportunity to have fun and relax, while playing an important role in the development of good health and well-being. The upgrades to our local parks aid in the City’s goal to provide a safe, healthy, welcoming atmosphere where people choose to live.
