Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences

We announced a transformational gift for Kennesaw State University last week. Norman
Radow, longtime supporter and KSU Trustee, and his wife Lindy, have gifted KSU with
$9 million. This gift is provided in its entirety to the College of Humanities and
Social Sciences and serves as one of the largest contributions from a single donor
in the University’s history. In recognition of this wonderful investment in KSU, the
College has been renamed the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Part of the gift will be used to establish the Lindy Radow Humanities and Social Sciences
Honors Scholarship Endowment Fund. This year, the College saw an increase of 43% in
Honors students, and this endowment will help attract more high-achieving students
to KSU for years to come.

It is rare in our state and beyond for a public College of Humanities and Social Sciences
to be the beneficiary of this level of philanthropy from a single donor. We are extremely
grateful to the Radows for this generous gift that ensures students will always be
first at Kennesaw State. It is just the latest in a long line of transformative donations
from Norman Radow, who has contributed so many years of service to the University
and the KSU Foundation, while personally endowing multiple scholarships.

It may be a little too soon to say goodbye to 2020, though for most of us the new
year can’t get here quick enough. But there is something quite special that has happened
at KSU over the past year that is truly remarkable. In the past twelve months, we
have received three multi-million-dollar gifts that each far exceeded any gift in
KSU’s history. This is a statement of the value others place in investing in KSU.
Thank you to Norm, Lindy and everyone who aspires to help our students achieve their
dream of earning a degree from a top-flight university.
