Not too late to register for 6th annual RIDE TO RESCUE bike ride on October 14
Join us for a great day outdoors in White, Bartow County where you and your family will enjoy food, music, vendors, a petting zoo and more

Ride to Rescue is a bike ride for charity with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue. The event began six years ago, created by a small group of avid, weekend and novice cyclists coming together once a year to raise money and awareness to help rescue animals from the area’s overcrowded shelters.
The sixth annual Ride to Rescue, formerly called “Operation for the Love of Dog,” will be in a beautiful new location in White, Bartow County, near Sosebee Bike Park. The registration and staging area address is 136 Bozeman Road. There is STILL TIME to register to ride in this event. The straight ride entry fee of $65 is tax deductible and includes a ride shirt.
There will be three different rides to choose from – a Full Metric Century (62 miles); a Half Metric Century (31 miles); and an 8-mile Fun Ride. There will be activities for the whole family including food, music, vendors, and a petting zoo.

“We are very fortunate to be a part of this event which raised over $18,000 last year. This is becoming one of our biggest annual fundraisers and we are hoping for a great turnout”, said Tammy Turley, Executive Director.

Mostly Mutts strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters in Metro Atlanta by working with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep. Often, these dogs are sick, injured and require rehabilitation. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, and physical and emotional care to these rescued animals until they can be placed in a new “furever home.” Since 2004, Mostly Mutts has saved approximately 7,000 animals.
Mostly Mutts is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, licensed by the Dept. of Agriculture and staffed by volunteers. It is privately funded through donations and adoption fees.
