KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education is set to host a Caribbean Pirate Party-themed Spring Social on Monday, May 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. Held at KSU Center, the event is being hosted by the College’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute which offers educational and social opportunities for adults age 50 and older.

The gala will consist of a catered meal followed by dancing to the tunes of Jeni Michelson & The Society Express Band. Known as a hip “little big band,” the group possesses an impressive repertoire from Swing, Motown, Classic Rock & Funk to Salsa, Pop, Country, Beach and Blues. Additionally, a costume contest will be held for those who dress in the most spirited outfit.
