Health inspection scores for Cobb County restaurants and other food services from August 7 to August 13 (cobbcountycourier.com) — Kennesaw diners should know Ruth's Chris Steak House on Chastain Road recently scored an 82 on its August 11 health inspection, while many nearby Cobb restaurants earned scores in the 90s and 100s. This countywide list lets you quickly check how your favorite spots in Kennesaw, Acworth, Marietta, Smyrna, and Mableton performed before your next meal out. 
2. Events and Happenings: The Week of Aug. 17 (ledger-enquirer.com) — Kennesaw residents have several library and arts events close to home this week, including nature, writing, and pollinator programs at West Cobb Regional Library and a "You Are Loved" art workshop on Kennesaw Due West Road.
