Pedestrian Killed In Kennesaw Crash
The collision occurred Thursday evening on Stilesboro Road at Kennesaw Due West Road.

KENNESAW, GA — A pedestrian died Thursday evening a crash reported in Kennesaw. Cobb County police were dispatched to the collision at 9:55 p.m. Aug. 2 on Stilesboro Road at Kennesaw Due West Road.
A preliminary investigation indicates a 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Stilesboro Road at the intersection with Kennesaw Due West Road when "a pedestrian stepped into the path" of the vehicle, said Sgt. Wayne Delk with the Cobb County Police Department.
The pedestrian, identified as 61-year-old Rachaelle L. Richardson of Kennesaw, was hit by the Toyota and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Toyota, 20-year-old Carson P. Vaughn of Marietta was not injured in the collision.
