Police Seek Help Identifying Burglar

are asking help from the public in identifying a man involved in the attempted burglary of a Kennesaw home.

On the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 19, the man was caught on video ringing the front door of the residence, according to a release from Cobb police. When there was no answer, the man walked to the back of the property, found a metal object lying in the yard, then used it to attempt to pry open the back door, police said.

The man was seen walking away from the screened-in porch area connected to the rear of the residence after being unsuccesful in his attempts to enter the house, police said.

Police are looking for a white male between 18 to 28-years-old. He had a beard and short hair and was last seen wearing dark colored pants, a light colored shirt with stripes, light tan work boots and a Notre Dame sport jacket.
