Prepare For Cautious Morning Commute, Kennesaw

The Cobb County Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising motorists to continue to use caution when driving on Thursday morning.

According to the DOT, overnight temperatures didn’t help the whole “icy road” situation, and there may have even been more ice and snow deposited on the roads overnight. DOT crews are working 12 hour shifts until the weather improves, but drivers should still play it safe while Old Man Winter continues to harass the area.

Cobb County police said that very few accidents occurred on the county’s roadways on Wednesday, and the DOT hopes that the same will be said today.

The DOT advises residents who use CCT that express routes, 100, 101, and 102 will not be run on Thursday due to the weather.
