The Cobb County Department of Public Safety is announcing its Fall session of the Citizens Public Safety Academy.
This program provides an opportunity for the residents of Cobb County to have an inside look at the various organizations which make up the Cobb County Department of Public Safety. During the course, participants will experience the Emergency Communications Center, Fire, Animal Control and Police, and gain knowledge and insight as to how each perform their duties in protecting the citizens of Cobb County, Georgia.

There is no charge for the 14-week program and the classes will be held every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 P.M. The location of the classes can change from week-to-week depending on the topic (or unit) being discussed or introduced.
The “2015 Fall Program” is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 6:00 P.M., and will end on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

Applicants must be over 21 years of age and a resident of Cobb County, or work for the Cobb County Government. In order to be accepted into the program, applicants must fill out the application, print it and bring it in person to the Cobb County Public Safety Internal Affairs Department, located at 1150 Powder Springs Street, Suite 300, Marietta, Georgia 30064 by Friday August 14, 2015 at 4 P.M.
