According to WSB-TV, the decision on Tuesday paves the way for final Cobb County Board of Commissioners approval in a matter of weeks. The development as approved by the zoning board calls for the construction of 41 homes on a 14 acre plot along Stilesboro Road, worrying residents in the area about the high density and the possible strain on local traffic.
A representative from the development company said that they took residents’ concerns to heart and reduced the number of homes planned for the property and added more trees to shield the homes from the road.
