ā¢ UPDATE: Lafayette's Queen City Lake reopens, now clear of elevated E. coli levels (local3news.com) ā Queen City Lake in LaFayette has fully reopened for swimming and all activities after tests confirmed E. coli levels are now safe. City officials traced the contamination to fertilizer runoff from nearby private land and ruled out a suspected sewer leak, with Lafayette Highās Marine Biology Club helping monitor water quality for residentsā safety.
