Black Diamond Skatepark Coming to Discover Mills
The skatepark will open January 5, 2012.
Black Diamond Skatepark is expanding, and has chosen Lawrenceville as the home for their third store. They also have stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“There was an opportunity to take over a pre-existing indoor skatepark in the Discover Mills mall,” said Daniel McCollister, President of Black Diamond Board Sports.
Woodward Skatepark and X Games park previously occupied the 40,000 square foot building in Discover Mills. Along with the skatepark, there will be a large pro shop and retail section with snowboards, skateboards, surfboards, apparel and shoes.

“We offer a full line of goods and services related to the skateboarding industry,” McCollister added.
Locally-owned and operated, The Diamond is a store that serves the local skater and is not a corporate-owned chain store. They are currently hiring for multiple positions.
