Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation at Berkmar High School

Berkmar High School on Pleasant Hill Road was evacuated for a period of time Thursday afternoon, apparently due to a bomb threat.

Gwinnett County Schools said on its Facebook page that dismissal from the school was delayed because of the incident, but added no details.

The Gwinnett Daily Post said two incidents were reported Thursday afternoon near the school. A man seen in a field near the schools prompted a lockdown around noon, and sometime later the school received a bomb threat over the phone. The threat delayed dismissal at school.
