CROP Hunger Walk Raises Nearly $4,000
The event was held at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 3495 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville.

The Lawrenceville Children’s CROP Hunger Walk raised nearly $3,950 during the event Sunday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 3495 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville,
About 35 people walked the course, and 100 people attended the event, which included bouncy houses, games and treats.
All proceeds go to support the fight against world hunger through Church World Service and local needs at the Lawrenceville Co-Op.

Church World Service is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to Church World Service are tax-deductible.
The largest fund-raising events for Church World Service are CROP Hunger Walks (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty). The first CROP Hunger Walk was in the 1960s. Now more than 2,000 communities across the U.S. join in CROP Hunger Walks each year.
