ICD-10: WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR CERTIFIED CODERS?
All aspects of the ICD-10-CM and an overview of ICD-10-PCS will be covered, including a detailed overview of the ICD-10 structure and guidelines, crosswalking and mapping, organizing the implementation effort, developing cross-functional teams, budgeting, outcomes measurement, and compliance, along with hands-on exercises. Training will provide the education and tools for these individuals for an efficient switch from ICD-9 to ICD-10.
