Celebrating Teachers All Year Long!

We are so proud of our teachers! Their dedication and commitment to the education and care of young children is evident in all that they do. See why as they share in their love of teaching at the Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway:

Primrose teachers share why they love teaching at the Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway...

Ms. Hardy is from Buford, Ga and is the Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has been working with children for more than 28 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Clark Atlanta University where she pledged the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

Ms. Hardy is a loving mother as well as a dedicated educator whose philosophy is, “Children learn best in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment.”

Ms. Medina is originally from Cali, Colombia and is the Lead Teacher in our Older Infants/Toddler classroom. She has more than seven years of child care experience.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Medina replied, “to see the children grow and learning new things.”

Ms. Merene is originally from Nashville, Ga and is the Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool I classroom. She brings with her more than six years Primrose Schools teaching experience.

When asked what her favorite quote or motto was, Ms. Merene replied, “Treat others the way that you would want them to treat you.”

Ms. Dillingham is originally from Columbus, OH and currently resides in Snellville, GA. She is the Assistant Teacher in our Early Preschool I classroom and has enjoyed teaching and playing with children since she was 15 years old. She enjoys them so much and also has two boys of her own.

Ms. Dillingham relates well to Primrose Friend, Billy the Duck, as they both love to sing and dance! Both she and Billy tap out a rhythm and sing all the notes with a quack-quack scale all their own. Ms. Dillingham and Billy both like to sing requests from the Primrose children and promises to learn a new song every week.

Ms. Diaz is originally from the Dominican Republic and is the Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool II classroom. She has also worked with children of all ages.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Diaz replied, “getting to know the students.”

Ms. Solomon is originally from Lawrenceville, Ga and is the Assistant Teacher in our Early Preschool II classroom. She has more than three years of child care experience.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Solomon replied, “getting to do what I love by teaching students and seeing them grow.”

Ms. Trussell is originally from Senoia, Ga and is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She has worked in the child care industry for over two years.

She relates well to Primrose Friend, Ally, an active little bunny, who loves to eat carrots and other brain food so she can keep her mind active! Ms. Trussell and Ally both like to think before they act and to help the Primrose children use their imaginations to solve a problem.

Ms. Blackmon is originally from Arab, Alabama and is the Lead Teacher in our Private Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She comes to Primrose with experience working with children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Blackmon replied, “the opportunity to learn new things from the children.”

Mr. Lance is from the Snellville/Lawrenceville, Ga area and is an Assistant Teacher in our Private Pre-Kindergarten classroom. He comes to Primrose as an experienced Sunday School and Assistant Teacher.

When asked what his favorite quote or motto was, Mr. Lance replied, “You’re, braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” - Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh.

Ms. Freeman is originally from Lawrenceville, Ga and is an Assistant Teacher in our Private Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been a substitute for Gwinnett County Public Schools and gained early childhood experience through interships while in college.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Freeman replied, “developing relationships with students and parents.”

Ms. Bellmore is originally from Dalton, Ga and is the Lead Teacher in our Kindergarten classroom. She has more than two years of child care experience.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Bellmore replied, “starting a new chapter in my life. I am very excited to be a part of Primrose and getting to know the students.”

Ms. Moisey is originally from Bogata, Columbia and is one of our versatile Assistant Teachers. She brings more than 10 years of child care experience with her to Primrose.

She relates well to Primrose Friend, Peanut the Pony, one of the original Primrose Friends. Ms. Moisey and Peanut both love learning words and like to share stories with all the Primrose children. They also like spelling bees, as long as they don’t sting their noses!

Ms. Eberhard is originally from Lawrenceville, Ga and is one of our versatile Assistant Teachers. She has over nine years in child care experience and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Eberhard replied, “watching my students grow and welcoming more into my classroom.”

Ms. Myles is originally from Detroit, Michigan and is one of our versatile Assistant Teachers. She comes to us with many years of elder care experience and has been in the child care industry since 2013.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms.Myles replied, “to see the babies in the infant class crawl and walk.”

Ms. Marsland is originally from Snellville, Ga is one of our versatile Assistant Teachers. She brings more than three years of child care experience with her to Primrose.

When asked what she is most excited about this school year, Ms. Marsland replied, “watching the children grow physically and mentally.”
