Students in the chapter’s ASCEND℠ class are benefiting from the opportunity to receive academic enrichment and life skills training to support their journey to college or vocational employment.
Cultural activities are also on the menu for these“ASCEND℠-ing” high school males and females. And, on Saturday they can expect what some consider the entree of a lifetime. Not only will they be front row center for a movie slated to air on TV One on March 14, but they will have the opportunity to meet a rising star, Jahnee Wallace, who just happens to also be a high school student.
