The Holy Qur'an Condemns Religious Aggression and Killing of innocent Civilians
According to the Qur'an, killing an innocent human being is like the killing of entire humanity.

βWhosoever killed a person β unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land β it shall be as if he had killed all mankind; and whoso gave life to one, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind. And Our Messengers came to them with clear Signs, yet even after that, many of them commit excesses in the landβ (Qurβan: 5:33). This, according to the Qurβan, is the value of human life that killing an innocent human being is like the killing of entire humanity. Terrorizing the civilians can never be justified.
At another place the Holy Qurβan states, β...and that you kill not the life which God has made sacred, save by right. That is what He has enjoined upon you, that you may understandβ (6:152). Nothing in the Qurβan justifies this barbaric attack because sanctity of human life has been given special importance in Islam.
As an Ahmadi Muslim woman who believes in the Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, India, I strongly condemn the attack at the head quarters of βCharlie Hebdoβ magazine in Paris, France on Wednesday. I am deeply grieved at the loss of the innocent lives. My prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy and to their families. I stand in solidarity with the people of France in the midst of this horrible act of terror and pray that may God give them the strength to bear this tragic loss. Amen
