Interfaith Children's Movement, Bringing Change
A community improving the lives of children.

As there is a growing youth population, it has become important to raise issues that concern the young. The Interfaith Children’s Movement is such an organization devoted to working together with communities of all faith to improve the lives and well-being of children. Just yesterday, this movement held its 14th annual Prayer Breakfast where they raised awareness to the issue of human trafficking. They also recognized winners of their “Have a Heart for Children” art contest, Sabahat Pall of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Arabella Brown of the St. James Episcopal Church. Congratulations to both of them!
Helping our youth is essential because the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. In Islam and in many other faiths, children are considered the backbone of society. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once said, “Your children are the best of your earnings, so you may benefit from their earnings.” By giving a good upbringing to children, we can strive to improve so many problems around the world. The Interfaith Children’s Movement is indeed just one organization of many that is involved in making this world a safer place for all.
