'Keep Our National Guard In Mind As They Deploy Overseas': Police

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – The Lawrenceville Police Department sent local National Guard members off in style as they prepared to deploy overseas.

"We want to commend A Co. 1st Bn. 121st Infantry Reg (NG) for making their march and donations this morning," says a post on the Lawrenceville Police Department's Facebook page. "The unit will soon deploy overseas. We know their family and friends will miss them. We'll keep on eye on everything while you're away Alpha Company!

"This is our local National Guard unit and we have close ties with them and many of their members," continues the post. "Their service to our nation and our community is exemplary and we appreciate their dedication."
